A little bit about Tori…

Welcome!

Nice to meet you my name is Tori.

For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved doing creative things. Photography is without a doubt my favorite creative outlet.

This blog is here so I can track my progress and share it with all of you.

I bought my first camera in March 08 (Canon Power Shot S5SI), I’m looking to upgrade to a DSLR in the near future.

I love the thought of being able to freeze time and capture a moment.

Any tips, tricks or constructive criticism is welcome. I always enjoy getting feedback so feel free to leave a comment or question.

Hey Tori! Isn’t photography an endless blast?? The thing I loved best when I was working as a photographer/reporter for the local newspaper was letting the photo tell the real emotion behind the story. So, although it does take time and practice to really catch natural expressions, natural emotions, I think “shooting” people is more rewarding than things. I have tons of shots of way cool buildings, bizarre architectural art, twisted trees, ducks on ponds, home-grown flower close-ups, etc. But it’s those pix of people with faces full of joy or serenity that are my real treasures. I REALLY liked your use of the silhouette technique in “jumping on the beach.” Are those your lil’ bro and sis? I feel like I’m having fun just looking at that shot! Keep up the fun … it could turn into a career!

Oh yeah Hey tori can you put a side-by-side pic of me and elvis with our awesome hair. (pre-baptism hair you know what i am talking about) or could you make a section on elvis wanabees call me and tell me your opinion and plans.

Hey tori where is the mirror pics of me and amanda like the one where she is trapped or the one that i’m picking her up. how about the frustrated and inspired writer or the silhouette shots. Ha ha i’m being kind of pushy dont worry no rush your doing a great job. bye tori
